Case Background:  

On February 2, 2024, Ms. Doe suffered a left hip injury after a mechanical fall caused by vision difficulties, which were a result of a recent cataract surgery. Upon arriving at the emergency room, she was experiencing left leg pain and later developed altered mental status. Despite having no significant medical history prior to the incident, her sudden decline raised alarms. She underwent a cephalo-medullary nail fixation surgery and received physical, occupational, and speech therapies.

These records included emergency room reports, procedure reports, radiology findings, therapy logs, and medication records. Upon reviewing the client’s requirements and the medical records for Ms. Doe’s case, We proposed a suite of services to address the client’s specific needs.  

• Medical Chronology: Our experts developed a comprehensive Medical Chronology, organizing the medical records in a clear, chronological order. This tool provided the client with a concise timeline of events, from Ms. Doe’s fall to her ongoing rehabilitation. • Medical Opinion: Given the complexity of Ms. Doe’s case, Trivent Legal recommended the Medical Opinion service to help clarify the nature and cause of her stroke. There was concern that the stroke could be linked to her recent cataract surgery or related anesthesia complications.
